About Edge of Seven

We believe that investing in girls and women in developing countries is the best strategy to counter global poverty.  Our programs in the developing world are based in best practices of: community involvement, respect, monitoring and evaluation and long-term sustainability.

The mission of Edge of Seven is to break down the barriers that prevent girls and women from accessing  education, health, and economic opportunities in developing countries.  We empower girls by championing grassroots development efforts that are community focused, locally driven, and sustainable.  It is our goal to make a measurable difference in the villages that we serve.

  1. You rock. I love that I know you in real life so I’m not just stuck being an awestruck virtual admirer. If I can figure out how to wriggle out of this whole motherhood thing for a few weeks, Nepal will be my first stop.

  2. Hey Gutte!

I was just catching up on your blog and am so so proud of you. You are making a real difference, sister! My only disappointment is that I couldn’t get it together to come over and volunteer myself – let me know if you need more people and I’ll try to make it happen.

Be well and keep up the absolutely amazing work. I’ll be cheering you on from D.C.

    Lots of love,

  3. Hi, nice to meet you !
